Filomena de São José Bolota Velho is a Coordinating Professor at the Higher School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, since 2012, teaching in the areas of Psychology of Education and Preschool Education
She holds a degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Coimbra (1987), with a Master's degree in Educational Sciences, a specialty in Psychology of Education, at the Psychology Faculty of the University of Coimbra (1995), having completed her PhD at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Salamanca, with the thesis in Evolutionary Psychology and Education (Child sexual affective beliefs and factors that influence them) (2009).
