Biography
Rute
is, since 1990, Coordinator Professor, with tenure and habilitation, at the Guarda
Polytechnic Institute, Portugal, where teaches auditing, financial
accounting, financial analysis, corporate finance, schedule and
appraisal investment and taxation at the undergraduate degree; firm
valuation and financial auditing and internal control at the management
master¿s degree (accounting especialization); and quality, environment
and safety standars and social responsibility management at the
integrated management system. Rute, actually, is the Accounting Degree
Director and the Integrated Management System master¿s degree Director.
Their
scientific research is based as an integrated researcher at the Center
for Research in Accounting and Taxation of the Cávado and Ave
Polytechnic Institute, Portugal and as collaborate researcher at the
Center for Research in Digital Services. Rute, also, collaborates with
MackPesquisa of Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, Brasil. Usually,
develops scientific activities within the Social Responsibility Research
Network and Global Corporate Governance Institute.
Rute has a
masters degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidade Nova de
Lisboa, Portugal and PhD Degree in Accounting and Finance from the
Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. Regularly, develops scientific
activities related with publication of research papers, participates,
and help with organization process, all over the world, of conferences,
meetings, projects, courses, and classes.
Moreover, participates
on the blind review process for several journals and helps as Editor on
The Social Responsibility Journal and The Accounting and Management
Review of Portuguese Chartered Accountants. Very relevant as public
servant always promotes the transfer of knowledge to the society related
with Tax and Auditing Citizenship; Agriculture Sustainability (Olive
oil in Portugal and autochthonous race (Burro-de-Miranda-AEPGA)),
Accounting Education (Accountant 5.0), Management Quality Systems in
Social Economy and Performance Analysis at Beauty Firms.
