Personal details
Jorge Gregório is a lecturer at Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão (ESTG) of Instituto Politécnico da Guarda, since 1991. He is Adjunct Professor at the Technical Scientific Unit (UTC) of Engineering and Technology (ET) of IPG since 2017.
He was Coordinator of the Egiecocar Project between 1998 and 2018.
He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering in the area of Thermal and Fluids, from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra (1990), with a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, (2000) and a PhD in Aeronautical Engineering, from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Beira Interior (2017), with the thesis "Development of an alternative internal combustion engine with opposed pistons".
His research areas are: Sustainable Mobility, Internal Combustion Biofuels, Combustion, Fire, Renewable Energies, Circular Economy, Occupational Health and Safety and Risk Management.
