Professor at the Higher School of Health of the Polytecnic Institute of Guarda, Technical-Scientific Unit - Nursing. PhD student in Nursing at the Health Sciences Institutte of the Catholic University of Portugal. Postgraduate in Management and Administration of Health Services at the Viseu Higher School of Health in 2014. Master in Nursing, with specialization in Child and Pediatric Health Nursing by the Institute of Health Sciences of the Catholic University of Portugal in 2011. Specialization in Child Health and Pediatric Nursing at the Viseu Higher School of Health in 2008. Specialist Nurse in Child and Pediatric Health at the Pediatric Department in the Hospital Center of Tondela-Viseu from 2002 to 2022. Collaborated with several higher education institutions as a Invited Professor. Integrated the Nursing Research Center of the Hospital Center of Tondela-Viseu in close connection with the Clinical Academic Center of Beiras. Develops research in the field of Nursing education and compassion/compassionate care.
